What a shame you can't automatically encrypt to only certain email
accounts, ie; ones you specify. That would be neat. With encrypt or
sign by default, it does every email, no matter what account.

Just wondering, is there any free email clients available apart from
OE that are free, and better to use, have more options, and compatible
with PGP?

Hi Dave,

Here are a couple free Windows email clients with plug-ins for
PGP/GnuPG support:

Mozilla/Thunderbird ("Enigmail" plug-in for GnuPG)
Pegasus ("QDPGP" plug-in for PGP)

I've just recently installed a Linux distro (Mandrake 9.2) on my spare
hard drive, and though the available (and of course free) email
clients are nowhere near as powerful in some areas as my favorite
Windows client (The Bat!), they are very "GnuPG friendly". Even the
news readers support GnuPG (I'm currently using KNode in Linux, and
it's a pretty nice news reader).

Enigmail with Thunderbird is good.

KMail works with GnuPG by default and has a nice colour coding system when
it checks signatures and decrypts mail. It does everything I need so I use
it on a day to day basis. In some cases where features appear to be missing
the email can be piped through an external program that provides that
feature.

I love KNode. There are others that provide better functionality for total
die hard Usenet users but KNode has everything for most users.
